  • - Budget! Depending on the artist you are contacting, rates can vary depending on location, experience, artistry, etc. Every artist will provide different value. You may discover some artists may vary greatly in cost, so just be prepared with a general sense of what you are comfortable and willing to spend on makeup.

    - Who will be needing services the morning of? Are you keeping it small or do you have a larger bridal party? Try to do the best you can in confirming this list. Your artist may or may not have a team available and if they do, they will need to pull in artists to accommodate you as soon as possible.

    - Approximately when will glam have to be complete by? This will allow your artist to know if they need accommodations, or if they will have “early start”. For TGBeauty, we recommend to finish by the time your photographer/videographer arrive.

    - Will you need touch ups? This may depend on your hairstyle (or makeup) you are hoping for or maybe you just want to look fresh all day/evening long.

  • Yes! We have a team of makeup artists that are based in NYC, Westchester, the Hudson Valley and NJ. Typically the key artist will take up to 5-6 services, and anything more than that an an additional artist will be added to the team. Every additional artist can have anywhere between 4 and 6 services each.

  • Yes, depending on artist availability. After your initial team is formed, any additional artists added to reduce the overall time incurs an additional artist fee. As a note, bridal services can take anywhere from 1-1.5 hours each. Bridal party services are 45 minutes each on the day of.

  • Once you sign a contract with a certain number of services on it, we can’t remove services after the contract is signed.

    We can absolutely add services after you sign, dependent on artist availability. The contract would be updated and a new signature is required.

  • After your 50% non-refundable deposit is made at signing, your remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding/event date. A late fee does incur if payments are made less than two weeks prior.

  • Yes, when you make a payment on our booking platform, Honeybook, there will be an option to add gratuity to your payment for your convenience.

  • Yes, credit card is accepted when paying through our booking platform, Honeybook. A 3% processing fee will be incurred.

FAQs: Pricing

  • If your event is two hours or less away from the artist’s base location, it is already included in your package price!

    If it exceeds the four hours round trip, $75/hour will be calculated from that overflow. This does not include parking or valet fees.

  • We do not give discounts and our rates are non-negotiable. It is important for our small business to be able to compensate our artists what they are worth based on their value to our clients.

  • We charge a flat rate even if a client doesn’t want a specific part of the makeup or hair service. The rate also remains the same whether the makeup look is more “simple” or glam.

  • We do not! False eyelashes (whether they are cluster lashes or strip lashes) are included in your makeup service. If you don’t opt for them, the makeup service remains the same price.

  • Many times a “simple” makeup look is just as energy and time consuming as other styles. For this reason, we charge a flat rate for any style that is requested.

FAQs: Makeup Prep

  • -Please arrive with a CLEAN face with no trace of makeup.

    -Artists will be equipped with products for all skin types. If you have any sensitivity or allergies to products, you may bring unused and unopened products and new brushes. All products must be approved by us.

    -Avoid experimenting with any new skin care products or treatments the days following up to your service to avoid unexpected reactions.

    -Client should bring a lip color of choice for touch ups

    - Clients are strongly advised to not sleep in their makeup and remove false eyelashes with an oil based cleanser (avoid tugging).

  • Please disclose any skin conditions, medical conditions, or allergies prior to receiving services. Depending on the severity, we reserve the right to refuse services for sanitary and safety reasons. Please contact us ahead of time if you are unsure if you can receive services or not.

  • For our brides, we give a complimentary touch up kit that includes a sample of whatever lip color is used. You do have the option to buy a full sized lip product if you wish, but either way you are covered.

    All clients outside of the bride(s) are recommended to bring their own lip color for their own touch up as the day/night goes. We will apply and use our own lip products at the time of service, but will not be providing samples.

Bridal previews

  • Bridal previews are held in Ossining, NY. We can also travel to you at your home, but a travel fee will apply.

  • Bridal Previews can take around three hours for hair and makeup, 1.5 to 2 hours. On the day of, typically it will not take this long. During your preview, we do a lot of consulting which takes up a good portion of our time together!

  • No, since your preview price is included in your package. A no-show fee and late-rescheduling fee may apply.

  • Previews are not mandatory but strongly recommended. It relieves a lot of pressure and uncertainty you may feel about makeup. The time we have gives us a chance to nail down your look, a plan of action, and a chance to make any minor adjustments necessary. You may have specific looks you like from inspiration you’ve chosen, but having that look done on you might look different or not as you expected. You also have the chance to test out how your makeup fares throughout that day.

  • In lieu of a bridal preview, we can schedule a Zoom/Facetime call to discuss what you need for your day of, talk through your inspiration photos, and come up with a game plan.

  • We recommend doing your preview 2-4 months before your wedding date. By this time, you have most of the major planning done and have a better sense of your potential makeup look. It also gives us time to do additional trials if you see necessary. If you feel like your skin is different by the season, then we can schedule appropriately too.

  • We love support! We do however ask that you limit your guest count to one other loved one and that they are coming as support and company ONLY. It is extremely important to allow the space and opportunity for you and your artist to collaborate based on what YOUR vision is.
